Powder / Ombre Brows
Powder/ombre brow is a relatively new approach to achieving a tattoo eyebrow enhancement. It is achieved by implementing a hand-held tool or machine with sterile needles to lightly puncture thousands of tiny dots in the brow area. The needles implant high quality pigments into the upper dermal layer in the skin, leaving behind an airy shadow similar to a soft make up application. This is unlike the solid "sharpie" look of tattooed brows of the past. With the “ombre” effect, the tail of the brow is a bit darker than the front or bulb.
The powder/ombre effect can be as soft or bold as one desires.

What is the difference between microblading and powder/ombre brows?
Microbladed brows: are created using a hand held manual tool to insert high quality pigment into the upper dermal layer of the skin via shallow slits created to closely resemble individual hairs. The artificial hairs follow the hair pattern of the natural brow if there is hair and an artists realism design if there is no hair.
Powder/ Ombre brows: are preformed using a manual or electric hand held tool to insert pigment into the upper dermal layer of the skin via an up and down needle motion. This creates mass amounts of pigmented dots into the upper dermal layer of the skin to create a soft shaded effect. The more dots in one area the darker the area. (Much like pointillism art) The bulb and edges of the upper part of the front body of the brow is lightest and the arch
and tail is the darkest creating an ombre like effect.
Both microblading and powder/ombre brows are considered different forms of tattoos.
Health Risks of Powder/ombre service
When pre and post care instructions are followed, the risk of complications are rare. However, should you suspect an infection, it is necessary for you to contact your health care provider immediately to avoid any further complications. This is at the cost of the customer. I am not qualified to diagnose or treat any medical issues that should arise.
If you have sensitive skin or allergies to topical makeup products, gold, silver, nickel, or hair dyes you should contact me to set up a patch test a few days in advance of your procedure. Most people choose to skip this step. Should you chose to skip this step, I can not be held liable for any reactions you may experience. You will be signing stating you do not feel the need for the patch test.
